Terms and Conditions of Sale

• All prices are VAT inclusive in South African Rands, but are subject to exchange-rate fluctuations and certain manufacturer constraints. E&OE.
  
  
• The microscopes, optical equipment and parts are guaranteed by the manufacturer for one year against manufactured defects.
  
  
• The prices quoted below apply to items delivered to Johannesburg, South Africa only. Should any extra delivery costs apply for whatever reason, we will quote you on such.
  
  
• If a Mobile unit is ordered.
  A technician will assemble the mobile microscope on your premises in the Johannesburg, South Africa region. For other regions, please contact us - we have a growing base of approved technicians throughout Africa. If we cannot send a technician to you, we will provide you with assembly instructions.
  
  
  
• If a wall or ceiling-mounted unit is ordered
  Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for the actual installation of the completed mount and microscope. You may use our recommended technician or your own for this purpose – however the installation will be for your account in either case and we take no responsibility for installations. The mounts are made-to-order for your particular needs, so (if a technician is available in your area), a technician will first visit to assess where to install the unit, and to check if the mount needs modification. We will provide the mounts to these specifications. We will need access to the installation point at least four weeks prior to the estimated delivery time of the instrument ordered, to be able to manufacture the mount in time. The mount will be delivered before or as close as possible to the delivery of your unit (at which time it must be accepted by yourself) and the balance of the payment for the mount will be due prior to said delivery (as below).
  
  
  
  
• The instrument(s) must only be used according to the manufacturer's specifications by qualified personnel in manners and for purposes specifically sanctioned by the manufacturer. By placing an order you agree to hold Evdara Institute, its members, employees and agents blameless for any damage, death or monetary loss caused to any person, patient, employee or agent of yourself howsoever arising through the use or possession of the instrument(s) ordered. The manufacturer's specifications are final in the event of any discrepancy between specifications provided by Evdara and the manufacturer.
  
  
• Any legal dispute between Evdara and the customer will be resolved in a court in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Please note. As these instruments are imported on order, a deposit of 50% of the final cost is required before the order is placed. We have arranged with ABSA finance to assist in this regard if required (South Africa only). The final price is determined on the day that the deposit is cleared. Should there be a change in price (due to exchange rate fluctuations or any other cause) requiring a further deposit, Evdara will contact you. Payment of the balance of the order (the outstanding 50%) is as follows – Evdara will contact you to inform you that your order is ready to deliver and the remaining amount must then be deposited. This condition applies even if you have ordered a ceiling or wall-mount and even if the mount is not yet ready. Should the balance not be available upon delivery, the order will be retained and a delivery charge will be incurred. Please ensure that you will be on hand for delivery within this period else the conditions applying to non-payment will apply. Should the balance not be paid within 30 (thirty) days of the first attempted delivery, the order will be sold to defray costs.

1. Fill in the order form and fax it to 086 510 5713 (Customers outside South Africa, please contact us for an international fax number).

3. Once the deposit has cleared we will send you acknowledgement and your order will be placed.
   
   
4. Delivery time depends on shipping, weather conditions and product availability.
   Evdara is not responsible for such delays as are beyond its control.
   
   
5. Airfreight is available for urgent (within 7 days) deliveries. Please contact us for prices.
   
   
6. Payment of the balance of the order (the outstanding 50%) is prior to delivery as detailed above.
